Best Travel Credit Cards You Should Consider In 2024

Many people often wonder how we manage to travel frequently without breaking our bank. While there are several ways we save money during our travels, travel credit cards have proven to be the most significant factor in helping us travel more while staying on a budget.

When it comes to building a strong credit history and score, using a credit card to pay for everyday purchases can be a smart choice. And if you’re going to use a credit card, why not earn travel rewards while you’re at it?

We have earned points/miles by using credit cards to pay for our regular expenses, which we happily redeemed for our trips, including a business class ticket. We use credit cards to purchase groceries,  use for Netflix & Amazon Prime subscription, for dine out, for take-out, to fuel our car, shopping for clothes and everything possible to pay with Credit Cards. And top of all these, we also pay our house rent with a credit card that doesn’t charge any transaction fees while we earn travel Reward points for using it for rent.

If you’re interested in earning travel points, we recommend applying these credit cards based on your everyday spending. These credit cards are suitable for people with good credit or better, who travel often and don’t want to limit themselves to a single airline or hotel chain cards. This credit cards are mainly useful to those only living in the USA.

We have applied for the cards mentioned above, but there are several other travel cards available in the market that you can consider based on your travel preferences.

Additionally, we recently learned about a new way to earn travel points by signing up for a cashback website called Rakuten. This website helps you earn Amex Travel points. For signing up, you can use our referral link and get $30.

Credit cards are often a topic of debate, but we believe that if you handle them responsibly, spending only what you can afford and paying off your balance every month, they can be one of the most useful tools for travel. It’s important to remember to pay your bill in full every month to avoid interest charges.

Our strategy is to use our travel credit card for all eligible purchases, but we keep a record of our expenses and always ensure that we have sufficient funds in our bank account to pay off the credit card balance in full before the due date.
